About Scriptworkbase

Guidance that respects both the law and the working day

We help employees turn German maternity-protection and leave information into an orderly, realistic employment plan.

Why the practice exists

Scriptworkbase began with a recurring observation: employees often receive accurate fragments from HR, health professionals, authorities and colleagues, yet still lack a single timeline for their own situation. Our work is to organise those fragments without pretending every workplace or pregnancy follows one script.

The person across the table

Consultations are led by Mara Feld, an employment continuity adviser with experience supporting workplace policy conversations and employee return planning in North Rhine-Westphalia. Her practice focuses on careful preparation: dates before assumptions, written records before memory, and a clear referral when a solicitor, tax adviser, health insurer or medical professional is the right person.

How we work

We ask for only the documents necessary to understand the employment question. Advice is bounded, practical and explained in ordinary English, with German terms retained where precision matters—such as Mutterschutzfrist, Elternzeit and Teilzeit.

Privacy, informed decisions and respectful communication guide every appointment. We do not contact an employer without a separate written agreement, and the standard consultations do not include representation.
