Browser storage choices

Cookie notice

What this site stores, why it is used and how you remain in control.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text records a website may place in a browser. Local storage serves a similar memory function but remains in the browser until removed. Scriptworkbase uses a local-storage entry to remember whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies.

Storage used on this site

NamePurposeDurationProvider
scriptworkbase_cookie_consentRemembers Accept or Reject so the banner does not repeatedly appearUntil browser data is clearedScriptworkbase

No analytics entry is placed unless you choose Accept. At present, the site does not deploy an analytics provider; accepting records your preference should privacy-respecting analytics be introduced after this notice is updated.

Essential and optional categories

Essential storage supports a request you make, such as remembering the banner choice, and does not depend on analytics consent. Optional analytics would help us understand aggregated page use and would require prior consent. Rejecting optional storage does not restrict consultation information, navigation or the contact form.

Third parties

Public images and web fonts may be requested from their respective hosts, which can receive technical request information such as IP address and browser details. They do not set Scriptworkbase’s consent key. Their handling is governed by their own notices.

Manage or disable storage

Use the banner to Accept or Reject. You can clear scriptworkbase_cookie_consent in browser privacy settings to make the banner appear again. Browsers also let you block cookies or clear site data globally. Blocking storage means your choice may not persist, so the banner can reappear; core site functions remain available.
